Tim Casey & the Martyrs have been playing for over 10 years together. They are “rock’n roll, power pop hitmakers.” This band’s genre is all about rock’n roll, and their fans love it! They’ve got some strong hooks, a Hammond Organ, a lot of rhythm, and of course some hard core rock’n roll guitars! The Martyrs are locally known, and if you have never heard them play you must experience this band’s energy Mat 29th!

Murzik, local to Minneapolis, will be performing June 5th. They started thier dark folk band in 2003. What is dark folk? It is a mix of gold eastern European folk and midwest American sounds. A term they coined after much experimentation. Murzik is also known for its ever alternating cast of musicians,and currently the word is that they are working on a new album!

Murzik has claimed its music style was influenced by artists such as Vladimir Vysotsky and Leonard Cohen. Come listen to Murzik for yourself, and see the unique style this band has to offer!

The Wrong Omar is a local artist more formally known as Joey Shaheen. His acoustic and electric music style will give you a taste of multiple genres in one such as folk, jazz, and a little rock.

He’s touring this year, and has made many live radio appearances around Minnesota!

One fellow is fiddling with sweet-sounding major-seven chords while the engineer fiddles with microphones and wires. At length, The Wrong Omar open with a tune that utilizes the chord progression that guy was playing. It's beautiful with a strong, pointed chorus that compels with engaging urgency....when it hits, it's dead-on, brilliantly inspired....Excellent songwriting. Warm, wry melodies over bright, moody chords...."
