Guthrie Theater

As a public building, the Guthrie Theater is open to everyone, with or without a ticket for a performance. With its new location there now is a strong bond between the Guthrie and the Minneapolis riverfront. The new building provides opportunities to bring people together both within the three theaters and also throughout the public spaces.

When you step into the gorgeous theater, designed by Pritzker Award-winning French architect Jean Nouvel, you'll realize you're in for something dramatically different. Your experience at the Guthrie can include extraordinary theater, seen on one of three state-of-the-art stages. But you can also take advantage of the many other things you can do at the Guthrie. Have a delicious dinner at Sea Change. Relax with a latté in Level Five Express. Take a class or a backstage tour. Wander and enjoy the views. Join a post-show discussion.
